Kingston Organics Waste Collection

The town has signed a contract with Black Earth Compost to provide collection of organic waste at the Recycling and Disposal Center (RDC). Black Earth is providing large green bins to collect the material at the RDC.  These bins are located near the regular compost pile.

All residents with stickers, either Regular or Recycling Only (available @$40) may participate in this free program, funded by a Recycling Dividend Program grant.  Detailed information is available at below. This should significantly reduce the heavier portion of material being sent to SEMASS for incineration.

If you are composting at home, you will find there are additional items that can be composted through this program. Please send any questions to the Recycling Committee.
