South Shore Recycling Cooperative and HandUp Mattress Recycling of New Bedford have teamed up to bring a curbside mattress pickup to several South Shore towns. They will be in Duxbury, Kingston and Scituate on September 19, 2022.
HandUp will provide full mattress collection and recycling service to residents who register for a fee of $40 per unit (mattress or box spring).

Given our shrinking landfill capacity, mattresses will no longer be allowed in the trash in Massachusetts beginning November 1, 2022. This is not a town-sponsored event. Please contact HandUp directly with questions.
