[ARCHIVED] MOSQUITO SPRAYING

Plymouth County Mosquito Control Project accepts requests for adult mosquito control from residents. Residents can call up to eight times per season to be sprayed barring any spray restrictions in the area.  The spray used will kill the mosquitoes in the area at the time that we spray and is not a preventative. Residents must call, drop off, fax or mail us each time they have a mosquito problem. If you are mailing, dropping off or faxing, please include your name, address, phone # and email address. You will receive a confirmation email stating that we will be coming to your property the next morning and a confirmation email on the day that we sprayed. Spray request calls are Monday - Friday from 7:30am to 2:30pm.

Pesticide applications are made via an ultra-low volume sprayer that is on the back of a pickup truckTypically spraying is done from the street and can travel up to 300 feet. Weather permitting; the sprayers are operating 2 AM to ½ hour before sunrise each weekday.

Below is a list of the streets where we are planning on spraying for adult mosquitoes. Generally, only portions of the listed streets will be sprayed depending on resident or town requests. The list is posted at 3:00pm the afternoon before we spray.  We list only the streets we expect to be on and not exact addresses.  We are honoring all pesticide exclusion requests.

The following streets are to be sprayed

Kennedy Road

Tall Timbers Lane
