Gray's Beach Park Playground Project Update

The Kingston Recreation Department’s Mission:  

Building & Enriching our Community by Working Together.

The Recreation Department manages and implements hundreds of programs throughout the year, manages properties/facilities under their jurisdiction: parks, athletic complexes, and town buildings. The department works with many other Town Departments and outside organizations, writes grants, submits Community Preservation Act applications, and works with local and state organizations, and oversight and management of necessary construction projects.

The Recreation Department offers adult and children's programming and partners with other committees and town departments for community events such as Music and Movies in the Park, and multigenerational programs.
