Mission Statement

The mission of the Kingston Community Preservation Committee is to maintain the character of Kingston as a unique historic residential community.

Per the Massachusetts Community Preservation Act, it is our mandate to create and maintain a Community Preservation Plan that will preserve, expand or enhance open space, historic resources, affordable housing and outdoor recreation venues for the entire community.

We do so through recommendations of project proposals from the community that are voted on at Town Meeting.
